Annette Beerman-Handl
I started painting later in life. With the support of my spouse I have been able to attend many classes and pursue my dreams of painting. I have taken Extension Division Classes at the U of S with Degen Lindner and Iris Hauser. I also have taken classes with Ruthe Prestley at the YWCA for many years. I have been able to paint at the Emma Lake Kenderdine Campus for 3 years in the summer. In 2002 and 2005 I won the OSAC Local Adjudications.(Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils) I participated in the Alberta/ Saskatchewan Centennial Mural which will hang permanently in Lloydminster. Go to www.muralmosaic.com (Buffalo Twins) ( Panel #39) to see the finished mural.
Painting is my passion. It is to my soul what food and water are to my body. I love to use rich bright colours to express that passion.
